Why Do We Need Ecology?

Have you ever wondered why cows eat grass, or why carnivores eat other animals?
Have you ever thought about how trees are able to survive if they just stand there?
Have you ever looked at your pet and tried to imagine what type of environment it would live in if it were in the wild?

All of these questions can be answered in this study of biology known as ECOLOGY.
Ecology is the study of all the living organisms in the biosphere and how they all interact with one another to create a stable living environment.
